Evaluation of Syddjurs Municipality’s Business Unit 2023-2025

Insight into the Business Unit of Syddjurs Municipality’s contribution to the local business community.

Background

Syddjurs Municipality aims to strengthen its business attractiveness and make the municipality an even better place to run a company. To this end, the municipality has established a dedicated unit, Erhvervsenheden, which serves as an advisory link between the municipality and the local business community.

The establishment of Erhvervsenheden marks a significant restructuring of Syddjurs Municipality’s interface with businesses. The municipality therefore seeks insights into how the business community and relevant stakeholders experience the new and improved services offered by Erhvervsenheden.

Silverlining Research is conducting a total of three studies during the period 2023–2025. The success criteria for Erhvervsenheden are based on three parameters: awareness of the unit, frequency of use, and satisfaction with the services delivered.

Method

Silverlining Research applies a mixed-method analysis design, in which both interview quotations and survey scores contribute to the overall picture. The data foundation for the measurements specifically consists of:
– Survey among business owners
– In-depth interviews with business owners
– In-depth interviews with relevant partners
– Data from LinkedIn, Dansk Industri, and Erhvervsenheden’s own client log

Results

The analyses support Syddjurs Municipality’s efforts to further develop its business services. The results provide both an overview of general developments and a solid foundation for identifying specific areas with potential for improvement.
