Recruitment for in-depth interviews regarding the purchase of electric cars

Recruitment of interview participants to gather valuable customer insights, specifically regarding perceptions and considerations related to electric cars.

Background

Norlys wants to make it easier for Danes to replace their gasoline or diesel car with an electric alternative as part of the climate change mitigation. They have thus created a large online universe of inspiration for those who are considering buying an electric car.

Part of this universe is the podcast “Electric car for beginners”, which attempts to answer all the questions consumers may have about owning an electric car. To learn more about not only consumers’ thoughts and considerations about having an electric car, but also whether the podcast succeeds in answering consumers’ questions, Norlys has initiated a study on this.

Method

As part of this study, Silverlining Research has assisted with the recruitment of consumers who are thinking about acquiring an electric car soon. A total of 8 people were recruited for in-depth interviews, varying in gender, age, geography and whether they are existing Norlys customers or not.

Results

With the help of Silverlining Research, Norlys has freed up resources to focus on gaining valuable insights to further develop their online inspiration universe for the benefit of consumers and the climate.
